Frequently asked questions

Is this salary calculator free?

Yes, it is completely free with no sign-up, no limits, and no install required.

Does it show my take-home pay?

No. It converts gross, pre-tax pay between periods and does not deduct income tax, national insurance, or other withholdings. Use a dedicated tax or take-home calculator for your net paycheck.

How does it convert hourly to annual pay?

It multiplies your hourly rate by your hours per week and then by 52 weeks. Adjusting for holidays and vacation reduces the paid weeks used in the adjusted figures.

What is the difference between adjusted and unadjusted amounts?

Unadjusted figures assume you are paid across all 52 weeks. Adjusted figures account for unpaid holidays and vacation, which raises your effective hourly rate for the same annual salary.

Can I set my own hours and days?

Yes. Enter your own hours per week and days per week so part-time, full-time, or unusual schedules all convert correctly.

Do you store my pay details?

No. Everything is calculated in your browser and nothing you enter is sent to or saved on a server.
